How do I set up my library account?

Overview:

To complete set up of your account, you will need to register your email address with the library.  Then you will need to create a 4-8-digit PIN of your choice, which will allow you to unlock all of Kenrick's library resources.  The combination of your email address and your PIN will allow you to:

  • Request print books from Kenrick's library.
  • Request print books and other items from other MOBIUS libraries.
  • Access Kenrick's online resources from off-campus.
  • Check your library account and renew books.

Steps:

1. Make sure you have registered an email address with the library.  If you are a current affiliate of either Kenrick-Glennon Seminary or the Augustine Institute, this has already been done for you.  Otherwise, please write to library@kenrick.edu.

2. In order to create a PIN, click on this link: https://oaconnector.ebsco-gss.net/pinreset.php?organization=s9605106folio.  You will be taken to a prompt to enter your email address.

  • Enter the email address you have on file with the library in lowercase letters.
  • For Kenrick patrons, that will typically mean your kenrick.edu email address.
  • For Augustine Institute patrons, that will mean the email address the Institute has on file for you.
  • If you are unsure whether your email address is on file with the library or which email address it is, please ask!  Contact the library at library@kenrick.edu.
  • If you do not have an email address on file or if you enter it incorrectly, you will see an error message.

3. After a few minutes, you will receive an email with a link (subject: "Library Pin Reset Link").  Click on this link to set the PIN you have chosen for yourself:

4. When you click on the link, you will be taken to a prompt that will ask you to enter your new PIN and then confirm it:

  • Enter the PIN you have chosen and you should be set!  Now you can log into the catalog or access e-resources from off-campus!
